In this era of Artificial Intelligence, innovations like Microsoft Azure Cognitive Services have taken technology to another level. Sentiment Analysis (a part of Azure cognitive services) discovers the opinion of a person about product, service or a person. This is done by analysing the feedback, they have provided in the form of a raw text. A Sentiment can be categorized as Positive, Negative, and Neutral in Text Analytics. The API returns the sentiment score of a raw text between 0 and 1 where 0 represent the as highly negative and 1 representing highly positive.
This service can be used where various customer opinions such as reviews and survey responses, online and social media, and healthcare materials for applications that range from marketing to customer service to clinical medicine are required.
